Current Electricity Rates
Effective July 1, 2025, there was an overall average increase of 7.0% in customer electricity rates, or approximately $7 on a $100 bill. This increase includes the costs of purchasing power from Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, delivering electricity to the homes, businesses and communities we serve, and investing in the electricity system.
*Rates do not include Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)
