Newfoundland Power is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible manner. We play a leadership role in creating public awareness around energy conservation and the importance of preserving our environment for future generations.

EnviroFest is our annual celebration of the environment and this year we will be hosting beautification projects across the Province. Our employees like getting their hands dirty - planting trees, flowers and shrubs to beautify a green space or filling up bags with garbage at a community clean up. We like all shades of if you're improving a park area, enhancing a trail system, starting a recycling program or transforming a green space, we want to help.

We would like to invite you to our EnviroFest 2018 celebrations taking place during National Environment Week, June 3-9:

  • Little Bay Park, Port aux Basques, Tuesday, June 5 starting at 11 a.m.;
  • RESCHEDULED Holy Family Elementary Outdoor Classroom, Paradise, Thursday, June 7 starting at 12 noon;
  • Corduroy Brook Trail, Grand Falls-Windsor, Wednesday, June 6 starting at 1 p.m.;
  • Big Pond Park, St. Bernard's-Jacques Fontaine, Burin Peninsula, Thursday, June 7 starting at 1 p.m.; and,
  • The Farm and Market, Clarenville, Wednesday, June 20 starting at 12 noon.

We look forward to working with these like-minded environmental partners to enhance green spaces in our communities and create awareness about the importance of preserving our environment for future generations.
