Newfoundland Power is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible manner. We play a leadership role in creating public awareness around sustainability, energy conservation, and the importance of preserving our environment for future generations.
EnviroFest is Newfoundland Power’s annual celebration of the environment, offering funding and hands-on support for initiatives that encourage positive environmental action throughout our province. Whether it’s improving a park area, enhancing a trail system, planting trees, building a community vegetable garden, or adding/refurbishing a green space, these projects are aimed at enhancing the quality of life in communities across the province for many years to come through environmental action.
Since 1997, we have partnered with over 300 community groups, completed 125 environmental projects, and inspired thousands of participants to care for the environment each year!
Successful applicants will be contacted before April 24. If you have any questions about the application process, please contact EnviroFest@newfoundlandpower.com
