Newfoundland Power is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible manner. We play a leadership role in creating public awareness around sustainability, energy conservation, and the importance of preserving our environment for future generations.
EnviroFest is Newfoundland Power’s annual celebration of the environment, offering funding and hands-on support for initiatives that encourage positive environmental action throughout our province. Whether it’s improving a park area, enhancing a trail system, planting trees, building a community vegetable garden, or adding/refurbishing a green space, these projects are aimed at enhancing the quality of life in communities across the province for many years to come through environmental action.
We were thrilled to receive more than 40 applications from across the province—each one showcasing inspiring ideas, strong community spirit, and a shared dedication to sustainability. Thank you to everyone who applied! Our selected projects for 2025:
