If you require a temporary service from Newfoundland Power, please Contact Us and let us know the following:

• what the temporary service is for;
• is it a construction shack, or will it be a temporary service to provide electricity to the location being built?;
• the electricians name and phone number for the job

The cost of being connected to a temporary service varies by the effort required to complete the temporary connection.

In addition to any temporary service fees charges, you may also be subject to a security deposit. This will be assessed based upon the reason the service is required, your overall credit standing and your history with Newfoundland Power. A customer service representative will contact you if a security deposit is required.

All temporary service fees and security deposits must be paid before your temporary service is connected.
