The Power of Life Project is a joint initiative of Newfoundland Power and the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation. This year, The Project is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Each year we continue to advance our goal to raise much needed funds for cancer treatment, support programs and to promote cancer education and awareness initiatives IN THIS PROVINCE!

Thanks to generous donations from our customers and employees, millions of dollars have already been raised. Our customers have shown their support through making one time or monthly donations on their electricity bills, while the employees of Newfoundland Power have demonstrated a wonderful philanthropic spirit in support of The Project by hosting numerous fundraising campaigns and participating in a payroll deduction program.

To date, The Power of Life Project has had a very positive impact on the delivery of cancer care in Newfoundland and Labrador. Together we are making a difference, through enhancing cancer treatment and care as well as promoting education and awareness in the areas of early detection, screening and prevention.
