If you upgrade the insulation in your basement, attic or crawl space, you may
be eligible for a cash rebate. A list of eligible insulating products and
rebates are provided below. To apply for rebates, complete the
Wrap Up for Savings Rebate Application.
Financing is Available
If electricity is your primary source of heating, you can borrow up to $2500
to cover the labour and material costs of your insulation upgrade and repay the
loan in convenient monthly installments on your electric bill. Insulation
upgrades can be financed over a 48 month period. To apply for financing,

Requirements for Financing and Rebates
- Electric heat must be the primary heating source.
- Insulation is to be installed to National Building Code standards.
- A signed loan agreement must be accompanied by an official invoice or
receipt for material and/or labour.
